When did you complete your sentence?

Once you’ve completed your sentence, there is a waiting period you need to meet before you’re eligible for sealing.

Each conviction has a different waiting period:

  1. Civil Infraction 👉 Waiting period 4 YEARS

  2. Petty offense / petty drug offense 👉 Waiting period 7 YEARS

  3. Class 2 or 3 misdemeanor 👉 Waiting period 7 YEARS

  4. Drug misdemeanor 👉 Waiting period 7 YEARS

  5. Class 1 misdemeanor 👉 Waiting period 7 YEARS

  6. Class 4, 5, or 6 felony 👉Waiting period 10 YEARS

  7. Most Level 4 or Level 3 drug felonies 👉 Waiting period 10 YEARS
